Cool Skies!

Imagine driving about three blocks from the middle of town and seeing this! Photographed on the Discovery Nature Trail in Page Arizona.

I arrived in Page, AZ just as the sun was setting. The two hour drive from Flagstaff to Page was the most scenic stretch in 18 hours of driving. Simply incredible.

I stopped at Wal-Mart, walked to the edge of the parking lot and took this photograph. 1 minute later the scene was gone.

I'll be traveling west to Page, AZ to photograph some slot canyons and lake Powell.

Following that I will head to Bishop, CA for a workshop with John Shaw. What a cool opportunity!

Arkansas Sunrise

On the way home from the hospital the morning Jackson was born the sunrise was incredible. Unfortunately we didn't have the camera with us and were too tired to stop if we did.

The next morning I took this photograph about a block from our home. Not as spectacular as the previous morning but still a dramatic photograph.
